it’s been long..

had a terrible week at work.. the getaway last weekend should have been set during this weekend instead.. i badly need to unwind right now..

plenty of things to blog about.. but this is the perfect time for me to say ‘心有余而力不足’.. my mind and body are no longer giving in to each other.. they’re both deprived of sleep at this moment..

have already settled for a year end trip to Shanghai with my family which i know is gonna be too cold for comfort.. i should probably start planning for a Taiwan trip early next year.. i miss that place loads..

our 6th!

back from our anniversary getaway!

even though we were kind of sleep deprived throughout (which equates to a grumpy me at times).. i still appreciate his tolerance and for carrying all my heavy stuffs for me.. not to mention protecting me and my belongings during this entire trip.. time to plan for another mini weekend one soon! and perhaps a big one early next year?

colleagues saying they wanna psycho boyfriend to get married soon + mooncakes shopping + a funny ghost story from the gents + colleague leaving only after i hanged up with the client just in case he was being difficult and he could help fend off an unreasonable person for me + everyone wishing me a good holiday + leaving for my mini getaway soon = euphoria!

i’m blogging so frequently now.. i think i’m picking up the pace soon..

met up with Mr Chua for dinner after work today.. one of the rare few times we actually meet up on weekdays (Mondays to Thursdays) after work for dinner.. haha.. i’m usually too tired to head out after work.. i just want to go home and nua the rest of my day away..

it’s the long awaited weekend!

past week includes:

1. watching ‘10 Promises To My Dog’ and crying buckets over it

2. climbed Bukit Timah Hill and realized how sucky my stamina has become

3. attended 4 days of the Asia Equity Forum at Shangri-La and found out that it’s pretty tiring shuttling between the office and hotel

4. sat in on seminars and it felt just like school days when we attended lectures

5. pretty much anti-social coz i didn’t turn up for the cocktail party at Keppel Bay and dinner at Singapore Flyer

6. colleagues were asking me to stay for the cocktail and dinner session held at the hotel today but i was unable to make it coz the boyfriend was fetching me

7. they wanted to ask boyfriend up for a drink and chat but he’s learned a thing or two from me about being anti-social

8. dinner and i’m home right now because someone’s falling sick

9. weekend awaits

10. i still need to photo-blog

11. life will be back to normal next week.. no more running between office and hotel! i’ll definitely miss it though

12. wanted to go for supper but ended up arguing.. >.<

i have my reasons for not updating as promised.. look at my entry’s title and you’ll know why.. i’m being tied down with work.. especially when the workload’s gonna increase AGAIN..

but that aside.. this week seems to whiz by.. and tomorrow’s finally the end of the week! whee..

been busy attending the Asia Equity Forum since Tuesday.. that pretty much explains why the week seems to flash past because i’m normally at the hotel for half of the working day.. with merely a few hours in the office.. time flies! haha..

a pity i’m on the morning shift yesterday though.. didn’t managed to catch MM Lee’s talk in the evening.. my other lucky colleagues got to be at the seminar while i’m back in the office.. haha.. heard that it was pretty interesting.. i only managed to know what the session is about through the newspapers today.. didn’t attend the cocktail party at Keppel Bay after that too.. was too drained to go ahead by then.. which was quite lucky in a sense because most of them who went last night turned out looking pretty sleep deprived today.. haha.. but i heard that it was quite cool though.. half a million to book the entire place.. i should really visit that place next time..

i really wanted to post up some photos.. but i shall leave it till the weekend.. or maybe tomorrow night if i still have the energy to blog.. haha.. i’m just here to tell you guys that i’m still alive.. and i remember all my photos!

just came back from dinner and shoe shopping with Ailing.. that girl is TROUBLESOME.. we spent like more than half an hour inside the shoe shop coz she couldn’t decide on which pair of heels to buy.. haha.. i’ve already decided on mine not long after stepping foot into the shop but still have to roam around trying on different pairs for fun just to wait for her to make a decision.. tsk..

pictures will be up by the end of this week.. a little lazy to compile and load them though.. so this shall be a reminder for me to do some updating before the week ends.. apparently Trixy is complaining that my previous update was done too long ago.. haha..

from now onwards.. this blog will be solely used for updating visuals.. unknown to many.. i’ve been having a private blog for quite a long time.. the difference between the two is that i’ve been updating general stuffs and photos here while the other one is used to store some innermost feelings of mine.. it is pretty lacking in colours over the other side if you ask me.. pages full of lengthy wordy entries.. this might be the reason why i’ve been sort of neglecting this blog sometimes.. it’s not easy juggling two blogs!

so i’ve decided that from now onwards.. the purpose of this blog will be to update photos about gatherings and miscellaneous stuffs.. while the words will go over to the other blog.. i’m sorry that i’m not able to give most of you the address and password.. but rest assured that friends will still be updated over here with plenty of pictures.. this makes juggling two blogs easier somehow..

alright.. this shall be an attempt to revive a blog which i’ve kind of forgotten for the past 1 month.. haha.. nothing much has happened since i came back from Hong Kong.. i’m STILL searching for a job which i like.. and frankly speaking.. i think i must be one of the fussiest job-seekers around.. i turn down job offers which actually isn’t that bad when i come to think about it.. but i rejected them just because they aren’t related to the particular sector which i’m interested in and continue the torturous process of searching for my ‘perfect’ job.. how fussy can i be?! the only comforting thing is at least i’m still surviving well on my savings and the pay from my previous job.. let’s see if the upcoming interview will persuade me to forgo what i really love.. haha..

have lots to blog about.. starting with the boyfriend’s 25th birthday! i’ve decided to update everything briefly since i have too many things to blog about.. haha.. more pictures.. less words!

celebrated his birthday a day earlier because he wanted to be home on the 17th to celebrate with his family.. so we spent the 16th watching a movie followed by a simple dinner..
